Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock down McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the last match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. She remained dominant as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
